Connecting People, Places & Things

Sometimes faith seems complicated because life is complicated. Sometimes faith seems easy because life is beautiful. Saint Paul said the secret to contentment, no matter the circumstances, is the presence of God—Grace and Peace.

Some of my favorite people of goodwill are people who have worked hard at exorcising unclean spirits and calling forth a Higher Power. They often say, “Practice not perfection as a way to talk about the process of getting in touch with Grace and Peace through spiritual practice.

Practice not perfection” is a mantra I like for religious faith as well. It reminds me that Grace and Peace are by-products of practice; not rewards to be pursued.
